Life at XJTLU is more than a noun – it’s action. Loving, empowering, educating, and integrating have shaped these 20 years. Through the lens, see our story.
Linhan Yan Late cherry blossoms between EB and MB. The cherry tree at the entrance of EB always blooms the earliest, and on nice days, students and teachers will stop to admire it.

Scott Ferrying Through Time Photographed at Moonlight Wharf on Jinji Lake, Suzhou. Beneath the quiet gaze of ancient roof eaves and modern domes, a modern urban "ferryman" paddles steadily toward the sunset-drenched sky. His oar ripples the lake’s waters, breaking the gilded sunset glow into dancing fragments — and in doing so, bridges Suzhou’s rich history and its boundless future. This is far more than just a sport. It is a journey through the gaps of time, a striking resonance between one person’s unyielding vitality and the grand unfolding story of the city. This scene, right here, is the most poetic interpretation of "symbiosis".
Yifei Huang In 2015, for the structure course showcase of Year 2 architecture students, teachers invited kids from SIP International Primary School to be testers: in the passageway of the Sunken Plaza, they tested the cardboard bridges students had designed and built. Those kids are around 20 years old now, and I can't help but wonder if any of them have become students here at XJTLU.
Yifei Huang Back in summer 2018, after making it through their last Final Review, Year 4 Architecture students chatted in the DB corridor, mapping out their future together.
